M.P. of Don Valley West, John Carmichael was at Valley Park Middle School on Tuesday, 28, at 11:30a.m. to announce Go Green’s new achievement. The project was chosen from 1,100 grant applicants in Canada to receive $258,301.00.

The grant will be delivered over two years to support the rehabilitation, renovation and expansion of our community infrastructure. The CIP 150 grant is going towards the installation of LED sports lights as well as a digital scoreboard at Go Green Cricket and Sports Field.

This conquest is a result of a partnership with Jays Care Foundation and the Pakistan Consulate for enabling to purchase the lights and poles. The LED sports lights, poles and scoreboard will make Go Green Cricket and Sports Field Canada’s first cricket pitch with lights. Congrats to all members, partners and donors! Way to go!
